How can I donate furniture or other household items?

To donate furniture, request a pick up.

What items don't you take?

Any broken stained, ripped, or faded, no books (coffee table books are ok), no open back entertainment centers, no press board, no particle board, no cooperate desks, no TVs over 10 years, no cribs or car seats, nothing incomplete, must have all parts included.

Where do my donations go/benefits from my contributions?

The list of people eligible for our program includes, veterans, victims of natural disasters, fires, and floods, parents and children escaping domestic violence, homelessness and poverty, disabilities, mental illness and physical illness for those transitioning out of shelters and Halfway houses into permanent housing and senior citizens.

Can I buy Items without being a referred client?

Yes, we have a distribution center at 200-300 Chase River Road. You can call and make an appointment - 203-527-5100.
